Motel 6-Lawton, Ok

My experience was marred by the excessively long check-in process. It took over an hour just to get into my room due to issues retrieving my reservation. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed.

Where it excels and where it fails

The friendly staff adds a personal touch to the experience, making interactions pleasant and warm.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms is severely lacking. Roaches and a stale odor are prevalent.

The room itself was quite outdated and had a persistent bad odor. It was a family trip, and we were looking for comfort, but the cleanliness was lacking. We appreciated the effort from the staff, but the experience left much to be desired.

I booked large and neat room with a fridge & microwave as well as a king-size bed. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect - just a pleasant stroll away from Central Mall.

The second room we stayed in was clean with comfy beds, and the pool was a nice bonus for relaxation.

The desk clerk was very nice and cute, made check-in smooth. Bring your own coffee, as there's none available.

Staying at the Motel 6 in Lawton had its ups and downs. The location felt quiet, so that was a plus. My room had comfortable beds, made for a good night's sleep. There were some significant issues. I arrived to find the room quite dirty initially. After requesting a new room, I still dealt with cleanliness problems. Only two washcloths were provided, and getting more towels was a hassle. I was told I could purchase them. While the staff tried to be nice, they were short-staffed, causing delays and added stress. The air conditioning also had a funky smell, which wasn't pleasant. The stay was frustrating but not completely without merits, especially the comfortable beds.

The room was surprisingly nice for the price, and I loved the comfy bedding and hot water for showers! I also enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor swimming pool and soaking up the sun after exploring the area. The only downside was that the bathroom could use a bit more attention, but overall, it was a solid stay 😊

The King Room was clean and spacious. Check-in was easy, and I appreciated the friendly staff. WiFi access lacked seamless connection, but the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions.
